| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The 750 incorporates Dual Image Stabilization - mechanical CCD shift and Digital Image Stabilization. This advanced imaging solution further prevents the blur caused by camera shake and moving subjects. You ll love the 750 s thin, sleek design and the powerful 5X optical zoom. A compact, thin design with an impressive 5X optical, 28X total seamless zoom brings you closer to the action. Dual Image Stabilization - mechanical and digital - means you can forget about blurry images due to camera shake and fast moving subjects. Produce quality images and large, detailed prints with 7.1 megapixel resolution.

sony stylus 750 July 3, 2010 Bill Mashek (sonoma county ca) I bought this for traveling because of its durability. I also bought the underwater case for scuba diving. This is a great little travel camera, the stabilization works well when you are taking photos from a moving vehicle. For underwater macro stuff it is adequate. I have external lighting which helps. It is a good all around camera, durable and takes good--not great photos. I think I paid 249. 4 years ago. I would not buy this camera for Amazon's 399. price.
Pro: compact, underwater adaptable, rugged, decent photos
Cons: hard to take photos in bright sun (LED screen), current price is way too much for what the camera is.
Careful around salty ocean air? October 21, 2009 J. Thomason (Turtletown, TN) While I have had the camera for multiple years as of this writing, it was purchased to take on a multiple week trip through the US (FL to CA), then over to Hawaii, then sail back to San Diego via a Navy aircraft carrier (USS Stinson). Camera faired quite well in all matter of carrying methods, from motorcycle trunks, various pockets, altitudes, cities and weather. However, seems somewhere in the Hawaii-carrier period, one half of the auto opening/closing lens protective cover got stuck in the open position. Other than that, the thing has been spot on and over 2 yrs later still going strong. Go figure. Get a bigger memory card, an extra battery and these little Olympus camera's will take a beating and keep producing on and off the beaten paths.
I hate this thing! September 2, 2009 C. M. (Tulsa, OK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I hate this camera. I have had it for a while and the flash is so bright you have about 6 inches you have to stand in like 20 feet away so the flash isn't too bright. The autofocus hasn't been working for me. The exposure setting has been making no difference in the exposure of my photos on manual mode. I seriously hate this camera.
Not so good camera!!! August 29, 2008 B. J. Gatza (Michigan) Did not have the quality I was looking for or the ease in handling. I guess I am a confirmed Fuji person!!!
Very disappointing June 10, 2008 S (New York) The view screen is almost impossible to see in bright sunlight. All you can do is guess and hope that you framed the subject well.
It has a very hard time focusing under normal conditions, (daytime, outdoors.) Sometimes after the second or third try on the same subject the focus will improve, but not always. It does quite well in macro mode, though...
After I had been using the camera six months or so it developed a new problem where anything dark would come out a weird green and lack detail. Makes most pictures worthless.
I had an Olympus before that I liked a lot, but this one is awful.
