Bought this DVD to tide me over between an old broken DVD and a bluray which I'll get once my analog TV dies. Very nice DVD but didn't come with a remote which rather limits it's functionality. Bought a Sony universal remote which did the trick.

Refurbished, and is performing flawlessly. Sony says it will not play DVD-R DL discs, so take note.

Excellent product.My children cannot even play one of their favorite DVD
in my desktop but this DVD that skips too much can be played perfectly

Owned it for approx. 2 years. Excellent dvd player, only wish it could take more than one dvd at a time. No problems mechanically since I've owned it. Easy to use.
Great upscaling DVD player May 15, 2008

Does as it states. Only downsides are that the load up times are a bit high and it doesn't play Divx, but then again... it doesn't state that it offers that feature.
I have owned 2 of these players for about 8 months and have absolutely no complaints besides those above. Beautiful picture quality on my 1080i projection Hitachi 50' TV.
