Great value August 24, 2010 Richard U. Newell (West Des Moines, IA) I've had mine for at least 4 years of casaul printing. Hasn't needed a replacement cartridge yet. Really gets the pages moving quickly and doesn't take up much space. I highly recommend it!
Best little printer ever!!! June 4, 2010 Nick's (Petaluma, CA - North Bay) Would not sell for 300 even though bought for 80 because this printer is amazing! I have used for maybe 3 years and only replaced the ink cartridge once and print all the time. Quality Prints, Quiet and Nearly Instant prints. What else could you want?I
Find one of these. You won't be disappointed.
Have three, bought another March 15, 2010 L. Jaszczak (williston, nd United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We currently have three of these printers throughout our business, because we liked them so well we ordered this one for another office.
I've killed many trees with this printer February 12, 2010 E. Barber (Denver, CO 80246) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this printer Winter term of 2006. I have gone through 2 cartridges since getting it. Factor: Fall 2006, Spring 2008, and now Spring 2010.
I used this printer in 2006 for my business classes upon graduating. Then the job searches, interviews, printing resume/portfolio, printing directions, and so on.
I am know in my masters, the teachers play this sick joke of giving the students about 150 pages per class per week to read. So have I gotten my moneys worth? You betcha, now I am off to buy a new cartridge. I would say not bad if you think about the cost/value aspect.
Printer cost me: about $150, toner about $30 = about $250 for 3 years of having it = $80 per year cost. If I had an ink jet I would be in so much financial trouble due to my printouts. If you don't care about color (I don't) then you save more money and time in the long run. Great for school, great for printing documents quickly.
Oh, the trees I have killed.
Not Mac Compatible, broke before printing a few thousand pages January 23, 2010 Richard Lee This printer, though mostly functional when connected to a Windows box, did not work without significant amounts of effort when connected to a Mac. Customer support at HP was not helpful in resolving my Mac connectivity issues. I eventually got it working with some 3rd party tools, but then the printer power supply died. I called HP customer support again and was told to buy a new HP printer.
Needless to say, this is the last HP printer I will own. I suggest looking at some of the Brother models instead.
