Amazon.com Product Description An ergonomically designed point and shoot packed with important features, the Canon Sure Shot 80u is easy to use and can adjust to most situations to capture clear photos. The 2.1x zoom (38 to 80 millimeters) provides a wide range of options in snapping your subject. The autofocus system uses 3 sensors to create a sharp and clear image, even when the subject is in motion or off-center. The 80u has several shooting modes such as automatic, action, night scene, portrait, and close-up mode. Film loading, advance, and rewind are fully automatic for easy operation, and you can even rewind mid-roll as well. The flash can be set to automatic, fill, off, or red-eye reduction. Use the exposure compensation to help show subjects out in under or over lit situations. The 10-second self-timer is useful for self-portraits or group shots. You can also imprint the date onto your photos for record-keeping. This camera kit also includes a wrist strap, soft compact case, one 3-volt lithium battery (CR2), and one 24-exposure roll of 35mm film.

| Customer Reviews: not bad for a film camera June 11, 2009 J. Talavera (Miami, FL) the view lens behind the camera is located on the left hand side of the camera making it difficult to use, most film cameras have it in the middle, this way the user can use either their left of right eye.
Canon Sure Shot-can do better July 3, 2007 Janeah Ogle (Reno, NV) I purcahsed this camera a year ago. I have been continuously disappointed in it. The picture quality is far from impressive. Its easy to use and thats about the best I can say about it.
loved the camera. but it didnt last long December 13, 2006 sam i am my camera was great - although it was a little tricky to learn how to take spontaneous photos. but once i got the hang of it i loved it. unfortunately, it died literally just 3 days after the 1-year warranty ended. i sent it back to be repaired and was distressed when i got a reconditioned camera in return - a different model entirely - because a sticker said that my camera was 'unable to be repaired.' it was a shame that a camera that cost $90 only lasted a year and that canon can't repair its own products!! i loved my camera and wish it lasted longer!

Received this as a gift. Ran about 5 rolls of film through it. It took decent pictures. Nothing to write home about. Then the lcd stopped working. Canon fixed it under warranty quickly and with no problems. The camera frequently has trouble focusing on subjects. So...good customer support, but only so so operation and pictures.
