Incorporates both user friendly operation and some of the Minolta's most advanced SLR technology. Simply turning the camera on will activate the Maxxum QTsi's AF, AE, and the automatic pop-up flash. The collaboration of a high sensitive AF sensor, predictive AF, and programmed AE with dual segment metering will create crisp and clear images with correct exposure every time.Maxxum Qtsi features the high sensitive sensor and the AF illuminator pre flash system guarantee accurate focusing even in low lighting situations. Emploing a dual segment metering system assures proper exposure when shooting in backlit situations. Automatic pop up flash provides proper exposure whether it is used as the main light or fill light. Wireless Remote flash control allows the photographer to experiment unique and flexible flash photography.The 2 lens kit provided with this camera ensures that you have the most of instruments at hand. This version of Minolta's simple-to-use Maxxum QTsi comes with two lenses, a 35-80mm zoom, and a 70-210mm zoom, giving you a wide variety of zoom ranges to chose from. This, plus the precise, continuous AF tracking of subjects in motion, gives you the ability to capture close-ups or action shots. The zoom lenses let you take intimate portraits of your friends and family members or close-ups of natural landscapes. The QTsi also comes with several preprogrammed subject modes--portrait, landscape, close-up, sports, and night portrait--that take the mistakes and guesswork out of your shots.A large on-body LCD panel displays exposure mode, cartridge mark, film-transport signals, battery condition, self-timer operation, flash mode, red-eye reduction, wireless/remote flash, manual focus, frame counter, drive mode, and subject program indicators. The QTsi has a focus range of 15 inches to infinity when it's used with the 35-80mm lens. The focus and exposure lock are activated by pushing the shutter release button partway down. When the lock signal appears in the viewfinder, simply recompose your shot and push the shutter release button all the way down to take the picture. This feature will not work if your subject is in motion, though.

I love this camera since the first day I purchased it. It takes pictures that are breathtaking. I've done wedding pictures, which have came out better than the photographer who they hired!

I moved to this camera from an APS autofocus camera... what a difference! Not only is the film processing much less expensive (the price never came down on processing) but the photos are stunning. I am excited about learning how to get even better photos with the right filters.
