RCA CC4393 Full Size VHS AutoShot Camcorder

The RCA CC-4393 provides basic VHS camcorder functions with a few digital effects and a 16x zoom thrown in. Its VHS format provides an easy transfer to your VCR for playback. This model includes autofocus that operates in telephoto mode from approximately 3 feet to infinity. In wide-angle mode, the autofocus operates from 0.375 inches from the lens surface to infinity. The macro ability allows recording of objects as close as 0.375 of an inch.

The CC-4393 includes the Steady Pix feature, which corrects slight shaking of images during certain recording modes such as zooming in on a distant subject, recording an approaching small subject, and recording while walking or from a moving vehicle. Your viewers will appreciate this feature during playback because it will make your recording easier to watch.

For artistic flexibility and editing capabilities, RCA included several digital effects. The 16:9 mode is a wide-format recording that is compatible with the High Definition TV format. The CC-4393 also offers mosaic, mirror, negative, normal, and zoom modes.

The screen display shows information about the battery level, the Steady Pix feature, shutter speed, tape counter with memory stop, remaining tape display, index, fade, zoom, and digital effects. The microphone is built in and picks up sound from the direction in which the lens is pointed. Accessories include a rechargeable 10-volt battery, AC adapter/charger, and shoulder strap.
