This is a great addition to your camera. Personally I think it should come standard on the camera, I really don't think I should have to pay an extra $20 for it, although Canon is always like that. I have a small nose, it isn't large or long in any way, although it was always pressed against the camera before. Now I feel much more comfortable using the camera and I actually feel that it is easier to see. I have a Canon Rebel XSi, and this fits perfectly, and was easy to put on. Buy it!

I'm not sure if I like this viewfinder extender or not. I'll have to use it for a few more days until I can decide.
It makes it a bit more comfortable to use my camera, as my nose isn't constantly hitting the lcd screen. But, on the other side, the viewfinder gets smaller (and I think they do this on purpose), making it a bit more difficult to focus.
It's not a bad product, but it definitely could be way better.

I put this on my Canon 40D. Installation required no tools & took 5 minutes. Provides some space between my nose and my camera while not detracting from the view finder image. Still allows for my face to help stabilize my camera and doesn't project too far behind my camera. Very secure fit and it's size is similar to the original optic view finder eyepiece. Expensive for the little plastic & lens, but does what I wanted it to do.

Without the extension I was hardly able to see anything comfortably through my viewfinder on my Rebel XS. Adding the extra lens and 1/4" makes it possible to see everything in the viewfinder without having to look all around the inside of the camera body or smash my nose and glasses against the camera.

This is a perfect product to prevent your nose hit on the LCD screen. It is also a very important little device for those who wear glasses (like me), it helps too see the full view. The only con is that it will shrink the whole view up to 30%, and it make the already tiny view finder smaller... You will get use to it, but it is still a con. Other from that, it is perfect!
